South Africa Field Trip
South Africa is one of those places in the world where you fall instantly in love. The unrivaled beauty of the land, the welcoming energy of the people, and the humbling energy of the sheer amount of history of this place will have anyone planning their next visit to South Africa. Join the TAG Team, Megan & Lindsey, on a #FIELDTRIP as we plan our 1st TAG trip to The Western Cape of South Africa.
Lindsey visited South Africa over 15 years ago during the trip of a lifetime and she always knew she’d be back to this wonderful place one day, hopefully in the company of another first-timer. This is Megan’s first trip to the continent of Africa and she’s excited about the wine and the wine.
Why join us on this #FIELDTRIP halfway across the world? First, Megan & Lindsey will be researching new locations and activities and creating a brand new trip from scratch! And second, the price of a #FIELDTRIP is a lot less than normal TAG trips, so you’ll be able to save some cash and still have an awesome experience. Without a doubt, this will be an adventure!
This is from our FIELD TRIP series so prices start around $2650.
Cape Town is South Africa’s ‘It” city. Nicknamed The Mother City, it has a thrilling blend of African, European and Malay influences. With Table mountain as a backdrop, this city affords picturesque views and a pervasive warm spirit. Our time here involves digging into its history while savoring its culinary prowess. There will be a cable car ride to the top of Table mountain and sundowners on famous Signal Hill. Plus, explorers on this trip will have ‘roam time’ to add in some of their own adventures.
South African Wine Country
Often called Cape Wineland, this region is where Western SA’s premier vineyards are. For a few days we will explore the wine regions of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek looking for the its best. We suggest packing a 2nd suitcase to bring home some of finds.
Nestled along its Southern west coast is some of South Africa’s most beautiful regions. Known as The Garden Route, the route gets its name from the Garden Route National Park. There is an abundance of lagoons, lakes, mountains, forests, and beaches along its winding roads. There is a lot of see as we explore its towns, beaches and National parks.
